MGA-Greer offers the Carolina's based textile industry an impressive list of testing capabilities. Almost all of the industries that MGA supports (including automotive, furniture, aerospace, etc.) has had a need for textile / material based testing. At the Greer lab, we have the capability to evaluate textiles in various ways ranging from a test on a fabric sample or a complex evaluation simulating the end-use condition. The Greer lab features a full materials test laboratory that allows us to explore and define any type of material property from the burn rate to the actual strength of the material. Our staff can also test the actual system that the textile is used for. For instance, the trim used on the seats installed in a vehicle can be tested for wear using our state-of-the-art KUKA OccuBot robot. A staff of test experts, combined with state-of-the-art facilities, results in a number of solutions that are ideal for virtually any type of textile application.
